BACKGROUND: Antitumor activity of paclitaxel is based on promotion of abnormal
microtubule (MT) assembly but it is also considered to have significant pro-inflammatory and
anti-angiogenic effects in vivo and thus may cause vascular dysfunction. METHODS: We
